PreK 3

Three year olds are constantly observing and investigating all that comes within their reach. They spend their time trying to figure out how things work, how things grow and what people do.... 

Visitation Academy's program is designed to promote social, intellectual, and physical development. But most of all, we prepare the children for their future educational path with a  faith based curriculum. 

Children must be 3 by October 1st. We offer a transitional program for children who turn 3 after October 1st. These students must repeat the 3 year old program the following school year. All children MUST be able to use the bathroom on their own.

Our curriculum includes Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Religion, iPad Work, Personal and Social Development, and is in line with the NJ Department of Education.

Dear Parents/Guardians, 

These are some skills you can work on with your Pre-k student : 

• Tracing the upper and lowercase alphabet (see last page)

• Remembering their special day (their birthday) 

• Recite the Alphabet March 

• Using playdough daily helps children build fine motor skills 

• Sensory/Kinetic sand to write or draw in 

• Practice cutting and glue 

• Counting objects (1 to 20) 

• Days of the week and Months of the year (Sing the song) 

• Practice prayers every day (Hail Mary) 

• Practice pledge of allegiance

Please also continue to help your child practice positive hygiene habits.  Remind students that they should be keeping hands/fingers out of their noses and mouths.  Also teach them how to properly wash their hands with soap and water.
